ONLINE REGISTRATION INFORMATION
Once all the required registration documents have been submitted, you will be given instructions on how to complete your student's registration online through PowerSchool Enrollment. The online portion of registration begins on March 2, 2026, with a priority deadline of March 31, 2026. Applications submitted after March 31 will still be accepted, but placement is subject to availability. If the number of enrolling students exceeds the number of spaces available in a particular grade level, PowerSchool Enrollment submission dates will be used to determine enrollment priority. Students may need to be overflowed to a nearby school if enrollment numbers exceed the number of spaces available.
ON-SITE STUDENT CARE INFORMATION
If you are interested in enrolling your child in our on-site student care program, visit the FCUSD After-School Enrollment and Registration webpage for detailed information about the waitlist & registration process. The waitlist form for the 2026-2027 school year will be available online on February 2, 2026. Please note, submitting a waitlist form does not guarantee a spot in student care. As is the case at many schools in the district, the student care program at Gold Ridge is impacted, and there is a significant wait to secure a spot. If you submit a waitlist form and a spot becomes available, you will be contacted directly by the FCUSD Student Care Office to complete the enrollment process.
An alternative to on-site student care is private, off-site childcare. Many private childcare facilities in Folsom offer transportation to and from Gold Ridge.
ELEMENTARY SCHOOL CHOICE INFORMATION
School Choice applications for those wanting to attend a district school other than their home-boundary school are available in the Gold Ridge office.
Click on the following link for detailed information regarding Elementary School Choice: Elementary School Choice Information.
School Choice applications are due to the Gold Ridge office by March 16, 2026. We will accept late applications, but there is no guarantee that choice will be considered or granted.
