An art program developed for Gold Ridge Elementary School by local artist Rachel Dillon.
There are six (6) art lessons per school year which means a student who attends GRE from Kindergarten through 5th grade will learn about 36 living, deceased, and even very famous local artists.
In this program students learn the use of different mediums such as drawing, coloring, water color, acrylic paint, chalk, clay, and oil pastels.
Docent volunteers are trained to deliver the lessons in the classroom.
